Successful Start of the 2026 Winter Training Camps: Professional Teams in Top-Class Conditions<\/strong><\/p>\n Between 6 January and early February 2026, we organized the first phase of the winter training camps, dedicated to professional senior football teams. The camps took place across three established locations \u2013 \u010cate\u017e, Novigrad, and Umag \u2013 providing teams with high-quality training conditions, a diverse competitive program, and comprehensive logistical support throughout their stay.<\/p>\n International Participation and Camp Structure<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n A total of 18 teams from 6 countries participated in the winter camps, including clubs from top-tier and second national leagues. Alongside Slovenian first-division teams, we welcomed the return of GNK Dinamo Zagreb and HNK Gorica from Croatia, SK Sturm \u2013 which completed two training camps in Slovenia \u2013 as well as their fellow club SK Austria Klagenfurt, and the Ukrainian top-division side FC Rukh Lviv.<\/p>\n Training Conditions and Operational Organization<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Across the three locations, teams had access to a total of 11 football pitches, enabling simultaneous training sessions and flexible scheduling. The organization focused on maintaining a stable daily rhythm and ensuring the uninterrupted execution of all training activities.<\/p>\n Competitive Program<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n During the first phase of the winter camps, 28 friendly matches were played. Fixtures were strategically planned according to the level and objectives of each team and integrated as a core component of the preparation process.<\/p>\n Accommodation and Logistical Support<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n The scale of the camps is reflected in the more than 4,000 overnight stays generated across the three locations within one month.<\/p>\n Teams were provided with appropriate accommodation capacities, athlete-tailored nutrition, and close proximity to training facilities, ensuring optimal conditions for daily work and recovery.<\/p>\n Conclusion of the First Phase<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n The first phase of the winter training camps confirmed the effectiveness of an organizational approach that integrates infrastructure, training processes, competitive programming, and logistical support.
