What an evening in Ljubljana! Mixed martial arts fans have awaited the next edition of the Fight Nation Championship<\/strong> for four months. Still, the event at Sto\u017eice Arena, organized by the leading MMA promotion in South-Eastern Europe, has exceeded all expectations. The miraculous Miran ‘Slo Rocky’ Fabjan<\/strong> (38, 4-2) knocked out Mario \u017dgela<\/strong> (27, 7-3) after just 47 seconds of the first round in front of his home crowd and immediately after the fight challenged Darko Sto\u0161i\u0107<\/strong> (32, 20-6), who agreed to fight.<\/p>\n The premiere of the FNC gloveless cage boxing was spectacular. The fans in the full stands of Sto\u017eensko watched five rounds of a real war, with both fighters “throwing bombs”, but in the end the referees’ decision went to Ljubljana’s Uro\u0161 <\/strong> Juri\u0161i\u0107 <\/strong> (31, 2-0), while Joelson <\/strong> Nascimento <\/strong> (26, 0-1) deserved all the praise he could get for his performance. The hot atmosphere in Sto\u017eice was further fuelled by local hero and fan favorite Bojan ‘\u017delva’<\/strong> Kosednar<\/strong> (40, 13-15), who beat Aleksandar <\/strong> Jankovi\u0107 <\/strong> (29, 16-13-1) with a technical knockout.<\/p>\n The FNC Featherweight Champion defended his title for the first time.
