The Stella Maris Football Center in Umag is a true oasis for football enthusiasts. With three natural grass pitches that meet FIFA’s strict requirements and one auxiliary field, it offers unique conditions for football training. In addition, there is also an artificial turf pitch, renovated in 2019.
The football center is located just over a kilometer from the hotels, making it conveniently accessible for both youth and senior football teams.
Besides football fields, Umag also offers a sports hall for indoor athletes such as basketball, volleyball, and handball players. The pleasantly mild temperatures during the winter — and especially in the spring and autumn months — are ideal for cycling or tennis teams, which have numerous well-maintained clay courts at their disposal.
This Istrian town on the Adriatic Sea, with its excellent training conditions and beautiful surroundings, has in recent years attracted many sports organizations — both professional first-division teams and numerous amateur and youth squads. The Stella Maris Sports Hall is always popular among Slovenian professional and amateur indoor athletes, and Umag is also an ideal destination for corporate team-building activities and sports events.
