ABOUT US
B4 is an agency that organises sports camps, events, offers logistical and organisational support for professional sport associations and clubs, maintains, manages, and builds football pitches, as well as works with tourism services. With more than a decade of experience, it is considered one of the leading companies in its flagship sectors.
VISION, MISSION, VALUES
Being alike offers comfort, but the path to success is found in being different, in being something more. What is it that sets B4 apart from the rest?
Simply put, because we wake up every morning with a desire to provide a superior service in the field of sports tourism.
Behind the desire to achieve our mission, however, there are a lot of values that we materialise every day through our work. An uncompromising effort to offer a superior standard that is impossible to obtain elsewhere. The care for all our exceptional destinations, which time and time again prove to be outstanding hosts for sports training and other events. The teamwork of our team that pays attention to every detail, because we believe that details count the most.
We build our vision on the foundations of our strategic orientations, supported by the trust of our clients and organic growth through successful project implementation and product expansion. With our feet firmly on the ground, we are steadily climbing the path paved with effort and dedication to become one of the leading agencies in Europe.
OUR STORY
In the early winter months of 2012, the first chapter of B4’s story began to be written in Ljubljana. It all started modestly, but with a great deal of enthusiasm and drive. From the office in Šiška, then still part of Bravo1 under the B4Sport brand, emails and calls were sent out all over Slovenia and soon beyond the borders of the country.
The first season of winter camps was spent in the company of the younger selections of NK Bravo, NK Celje and NK Dravograd. Thanks to tireless working zeal, with a touch of perfectionism, progress has been realised in big steps, both in terms of numbers and the reputation of the clients. The very next summer, we hosted the HNK Rijeka team, led by Matjaž Kek, in Kranjska Gora. The Kvarner club has been a loyal guest of ours ever since, and they have been returning to Slovenia for a decade.
In Croatian Istria, which becomes the centre of our activities every winter, we first began working in Vrsar and Dajla, but the biggest leap was made with the expansion to Umag, where the Stella Maris sports centre is still our base and hosts the traditional Umag Trophy tournament for young footballers. In Slovenia, the Alpine valley in the far north-west of the country has been joined by the established tourist destination in the far south-east, Čatež ob Savi.
The expansion of locations called for staff reinforcements. In 2015, Alen Halilović joined the project as the first employee from outside the parent company, followed by Nataša Haskić just over two years later. Both remain part of our team today.
In 2017, the scope of work had already grown well beyond the scope of a company affiliated to a football club. The project’s conceptual and operational leader Timotej Krajnc therefore decided to go his own way, and B4SportCamps d.o.o. was born.
In the period following the creation of the new entity, one of the biggest milestones is the investment in a new, own football training centre, Gobele, in Kranjska Gora, which offers the conditions to raise the level of service and attract teams from the stronger European leagues.
While the epidemic of the Covid-19 virus brought virtually the entire tourism industry and the lion’s share of public life in general to a standstill, our agency came through the challenging period even stronger. Strengthened by Emir Haskić as Managing Director, who brought a new vision and momentum with his knowledge and experience, we hosted 18 professional teams in the winter break of 2021.
At the same time, we have continued to expand into new markets, looking after the national associations, entering the national teams market, adding new destinations and expanding our sports infrastructure. We have also added the construction, maintenance and rehabilitation of football pitches to our services. The changes in the agency’s operations were presented to the public in more detail at the beginning of 2022, when B4SportCamps officially became B4, reinforced with a modern visual identity and concrete objectives for its four pillars of action.
One of B4’s more recent high-profile projects is the official partnership with the Basketball Federation of Slovenia, with which we were heavily involved in the organisation of the Women’s European Basketball Championship 2023.
