The proximity of the stadiums with artificial lighting in Brežice and Krško is an added plus when organising qualification or friendly tournaments for the future star athletes.
In the past, Čatež has hosted UEFA U15 development tournaments and European Championship qualifiers for the U17 women’s national team. Čatež is also a popular training location for professional clubs such as SK Sturm Graz and MŠK Žilina.
