The proximity of stadiums with floodlights in Brežice and Krško is an additional advantage for organizing qualification or friendly tournaments for younger age categories. In the Posavje region, UEFA development tournaments for the U15 category and European Championship qualifiers for women’s U17 national teams have already been held. Čatež is also a popular training location for professional clubs such as SK Sturm Graz and MŠK Žilina.
