In April, Stožice Arena hosted one of the region’s biggest combat sports spectacles for the third consecutive time, as Fight Nation Championship 29 once again confirmed Ljubljana’s status as one of the key venues for major MMA events in this part of Europe. In front of packed stands and an electric atmosphere, spectators witnessed an evening of top-level fights, outstanding production and unforgettable sporting moments.

The highlight of the evening was the main event for the light heavyweight championship, in which Slovenian fighter Jakob “Gorilla” Nedoh delivered an exceptional performance to defeat reigning champion Matej Batinić, sending Stožice into celebration. Ljubljana thus crowned a new champion, while FNC 29 delivered one of the organisation’s most memorable moments in Slovenia to date.

Seven Slovenian fighters competed across the eleven bouts on the card, giving the event a strong home presence. The audience witnessed spectacular finishes, closely contested fights and an incredible atmosphere inside the arena, once again demonstrating why FNC has become one of the most recognisable combat sports organisations in the region. At the same time, the event confirmed that Slovenia has high-quality fighters, a loyal fan base and an increasingly prominent position on the MMA map.

As the event’s local partner, B4 Agency once again played an important role in its organisation. Together with our team, we took responsibility for the complete organisation and delivery of the event, managing all key areas, from logistics, accommodation and production coordination to media relations, marketing, ticketing, VIP hospitality and the overall visitor experience. We are proud to have contributed to a project that once again set a high standard for sports and entertainment events in Slovenia.

Another celebration of Slovenian MMA is successfully behind us. FNC, one of the largest combat sports organisations in Europe, returned to Ljubljana for the third time and once again delivered an outstanding event. We witnessed an incredible spectacle, sophisticated production and exciting fights that once again demonstrated the organisation’s high standards.

I am delighted that Stožice was once again packed and that visitors were able to enjoy the premium experience FNC consistently delivers. Mixed martial arts events offer a unique combination of sport and entertainment, which gives us every reason to look to the future with optimism and look forward to more FNC events in Slovenia,” added Emir Haskić, Managing Director at B4 Agency.
